I took my watch to Jay's Watch Repair to have the pins that hold the band replaced. Not only did they replace the pins, but the gentleman showed me the old pins. One was just beat up, but the other was the wrong pin, replaced previously somewhere else. It was fast, cheap, and professional.
Wow, that was fast! I drove to Jay's Watch Repair and Jay swapped the battery in my Movado watch in a few minutes! I was fortunate in that Jay had the battery in stock and was able to do it on the spot. Jay has over 30 years of experience in watch repair which was why I went here instead of a big box jewelry store which would have to "send it out" to have the battery replaced.
